they started with a 2d pencil drawing of a map, could be their neighbourhood, urban, made up, anything at all. Then did the drawing in colour to visualize their map.
they collected materials to make up the base first, then going vertical. The process and end results were great. The kids were very interested in analyzing each others work, they noticed lots of details and differences in perspective.
